About the Foundation

Saint Francis Health Care Foundation is dedicated to the philanthropic support of Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers. Founded in 1978 as a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, and governed by a Board of Directors, the Foundation provides support through the development of charitable contributions as well as through creating community awareness of and involvement in the institution.

The Saint Francis Health Care Foundation is grateful to its numerous individual and corporate supporters for their generous gifts throughout its capital campaign. Due to the on-going involvement of members of our community, Saint Francis has successfully completed such projects as the Panichi Family Center for Communication and Learning, the Charles and Mabel E. Conklin Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, and Phase I of our region’s designated Trauma Center, the busiest Level II Trauma Center in New York State; the George T. Whalen Family Trauma Center, James J. McCann Emergency Care Center, and Monsignor Brinn Center for Psychiatric Care.
