Saint Francis Home Care Services leads in technology
Tele-health:
This technology allows an individual to be monitored by a health professional from the privacy of home. This type of monitoring reduces the risk of hospitalization and ER visits. Standard measurements are weight, blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature. The verbal and visual cues are available in 11 languages.
Lifeline:
Lifeline is a personal medical alert system that is discrete and puts you in touch with emergency assistance at the touch of a button. The Saint Francis Lifeline program does not require a contract and the program is available for a reasonable monthly fee. The small amount of equipment is professionally installed. There are three personal alert options all of which are water-proof and light-weight.
PMD:
This medication dispensing unit allows a patient to take the proper medication at the proper time. This helps to avoid over dosages and medication interactions. There is no contract required and a reasonable cost for installation and maintenance. The unit is loaded with medication by a registered nurse or family member. The duration of dispensing time depends on the amount of medications taken.
